Our Goal
To move the mailbox items for the users in In-place Archive after retention period has passed, for example, email items will be moved to archive automatically after 2 or 3 years, whatever you set it.

Note: You should have the separate Database for the In-Place Archive. Also while enabling the archive mention the database, else exchange will pick the healthy database to put archive items.
