The Reality of Winter on our Homestead in Portugal

Описание: Hello from winter on our homestead in Alentejo, Portugal. It's beautiful, and oh so cold!

This is our 4th winter here, and we're still facing many of the same challenges as the previous years, due to our set up. We always try to be optimistic and grateful, but this time of year gets to us, as we repeat under our breaths many times a day "Oh my gosh, I'm so cold!" It's the time of year when we feel we can't warm up, no matter our efforts, when we get sick, and when we start feeling defeated. This year I've had a sobering realization that until a couple BIG issues of the house are fixed, we are going to keep facing this winter after winter. Its like pouring water into a bucket with holes in it.

That being said, there ARE 3 significant changes we're making this year & they SHOULD help!
