Rebuilt 1971 Yamaha G2 Grand Piano

Описание: This 1971 Yamaha G2 just came out of the shop! We've done a lot of work on this piano- firstly, we removed the plate. Secondly, we took all of the strings and dampers off, further, we refinished the soundboard and put a new Yamaha logo on the plate. After that, we installed all new strings-not just the treble and bass strings, all of the strings have been replaced. And finally, we put new felt throughout the piano and it looks amazing.

On the action we tighten, lubricate, soda blast everything for serene cleanliness and reshaped the hammers. We've done a full regulation and as a result, everything is functioning as it is supposed to.

Brigham would classify the work done on this piano as a hybrid rebuild/refurbish. The action has been refurbished -  all the components are original, but our technicians have gone through and made sure that everything functions as close to brand new as we can get it.

We probably could've got away with continuing to use the same strings, but because they were on the border of being good strings and needing to be replaced, Brigham ultimately decided to take everything off and replace with new strings. As a result, the piano is beautiful and highly functioning!

Pianos can last lifetimes, however, a general rule of pianos is they need this kind of service every 20-25 years.

If properly taken care of, each piano can yield years and years of excellent use.
