Everyone can see when the Sky Tower is lit up like a Christmas tree.
But what people might not know is that every single colour and combination relates to a different team, charity, community group, or organisation that’s receiving our support.
From turning pink for Breast Cancer Awareness month, to blue for the Prostate Cancer Foundation, to red for the Leukaemia and Blood Foundation, to showing our sporting colours in support of the Vodafone Warriors.
Then comes Earth Hour and we give the lights a rest.
In fact, through our three SKYCITY Community Trusts, we’ve distributed more than $39.2 million to thousands of deserving community groups and causes across New Zealand.
So if you’re curious about who we support, look up and you’ll find the answer in full colour for all to see.
