From an operations and support perspective, each system can have their own siloed logs and data hidden behind administration user interfaces. This siloed information can require operations departments to login in multiple systems to access the logs, download the data and manually just to troubleshoot issues. Bringing the data together into one near real time repository can allow one system to provide an end to end view of the logs, search the unified telemetry data and logs, automate alerting based on business rules, and create operational health dashboards.
