Our Throat Chakra (also called “Vishuddha”) is the first of the three spiritual chakras, the energy center within our bodies associated with communication, truth, and self-expression. When our Throat Chakra is open and in balance, we can express what we think and what we feel. We are able to communicate our ideas, beliefs, and emotions. We can carry our personal truth out into the world. But when our Throat Chakra or Vishuddha is blocked or unbalanced, we often find it hard to express our emotions in a clear and healthy way.
