UPDATE: On this build, one of the kit's tubes was noisy. I contacted the vendor, and they were polite and sent a new tube (on the slow boat). At present, the amp is working properly with all stock parts. Plus, this amp wants some fairly strong input signal, so I suggest using a pre-amp ahead of it if your component does not have a high output. (my DVD/CD player has very strong output, but my phono pre-amp does not.)
This is one of those tube stereo amp kits like you can find on Ebay, AliExpress, or Amazon. I got this one on Ebay. Here I get it assembled, and working properly. With an OK set of speakers, I have it sounding pretty good. After it gets some more test/run in time, we'll move it to some good speakers.
The vendor says this is a 24watt amp, (12watts per channel) I may have said 15 by mistake. It's got just barely enough guts to drive my main listening speakers, It sounds best to me with acoustic music.
