My New Favourite Guitar Sound Is a Keyboard

Описание: I may sound like ragebait, but the Yamaha Reface CP keyboard is my current favourite guitar sound

With a MIDI pickup (Fishman Tripleplay Express in my case), the classic electric pianos can be triggered directly from my everyday guitar, adding warmth and grit to riffs and even chords.

The Reface CP's internal effects are also a huge part of the appeal here, effectively turning it into an all-in-one tone monster and pedal board when paired with a MIDI guitar.

Not without caveats, as placement and clean playing are key to avoid stepping or tracking issues, but in the right context it's been a lot of fun and genuinely inspiring (also bonus that I already owned all this stuff and am just combining it in new ways).
