The defense of Pokrovsk, Myrnohrad, and the surrounding areas became the focus of a working meeting between the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and commanders.
The situation on the Huliaipole direction is also tense. This week, the Southern Defense Forces of Ukraine reported that the enemy is conducting active assault operations and increasing the number of artillery strikes and the use of kamikaze drones.
The 33rd Separate Assault Regiment of the Ground Forces and adjacent units repelled the offensive and regained control of the situation near Huliaipole. The front line there has been stabilized.
The enemy continues to strike peaceful cities. On Tuesday night, the Russians carried out a massive attack on the capital of Ukraine. There are many killed and wounded. In three districts of Kyiv, residential buildings were hit. In Kherson, a woman and her child were killed when Russian occupiers dropped explosives from a drone onto their car.
At the same time, the Ukrainian Defense Forces do not shell Russian cities and do not strike residential areas or public facilities. They destroy only military targets and industries that support the terrorist army of the enemy.
