Stop-Motion Transformation of Transcraft TC-02 Beettle. Fantastic transformation design. Reminds me of DX9 La Hire. I wonder if it’s the same team? Car mode is a tad weak - they should have put in panel lines for the doors and found a way to put the handle in the right place. Plus the hinges on top are a bit unsightly. But still, it’s a great design with great materials and construction and paint. And the robot mode proportions are great. I love how they hid all the various “flats” inside the robot without resorting to a (*cough* Hasbro *cough*) backpack. Very VERY DX9 La Hire in execution.

Production Note: Not too bad. The trick was finding positions that were stable and could show the necessary steps well.

If you want to follow along, I recommend skipping to the speed run and using the Chrome plugin called "Frame by Frame for YouTube". It turns your , and . keyboard keys into single-frame movement keys. Every step of the transformation is documented in the frames of the video, in what I consider to be the best sequence. With minimal rubbing and minimal parts-parking.
