Описание: In order to increase the competitiveness of our industry in the defense, aviation and space sectors by raising their productivity, there is a strong need for national and regional initiatives and supporting structures which are subject-oriented, have qualified workforce, have the ability to produce high technology products with collaboration and which can sell them in international arena.

In order that Istanbul Industry, which produces half of Turkey’s national income, produces high-tech products of added value, in March 2015, SAHA Istanbul Defense and Aerospace Cluster Association was established with the initiatives of 27 founding members, aiming to combine the power and catching a common synergy of 65.000 industrialists company operating in the corridor of Northern Marmara starting from Edirne, extending to Tekirdag, Istanbul, Izmit, Yalova, Adapazarı and Düzce. The cluster chose Technopark Istanbul in Pendik as the center. Has opened a liaison office in the DESB Deliklikaya industrial area to coordinate activities on the European side and the Thrace region.

In every branch of the defense industry, we are creating clusters by informing and guiding our companies in the aviation and space industry, thereby acting with the ideal of increasing our national production ability and capacity.
