The melee meta is clear right now - you NEED to use the Tonfa.
The knife and karambit gives a lot of missed swings and the Dual Kamas and Kodachis have critical hit cooldown. The pickaxe is simply too slow given the 10% Riot Shield movement speed penalty.
But the Tonfa is a 3 hit, has the fastest Tac Sprint speed of all the melee weapons and has lock-on lunge. Easy dubs.
