We wanted to evaluate the new DPA 2028 vocal condenser microphone, so we thought what better way than to send it to a killer live vocalist and have them put it through its paces.
So we enlisted the help of award-winning singer/songwriter Joanna Pearl to check out the 2028 and test it out in a live performance setting to see just how good it sounds, and how well it holds up on-stage.
Watch as she unboxes the mic, shows how easy it is to set up for a home recording session, and then hits the stage to perform her original song "I Am Woman" with a full band.
