Former Chief Justice Lucas Bersamin, the current Government Service Insurance System chairman, is seen as a "very strong candidate" to become the next Executive Secretary, Justice Sec. Boying Remulla told One PH's #SaTotooLang on Friday.

The 72-year-old Bersamin has been floated as the possible Executive Secretary after Atty. Vic Rodriguez stepped down from the post last week to become the Presidential Chief of Staff.
