In this video we teach you how to use a push rod, commonly referred to as a booster pin, depth gauge. Got a soft pedal? It could be the gap between the booster pin of the brake booster and the master cylinder. This tool is used to measure the push rod distance between the master cylinder piston. Baer recommends a .005" distance between the master cylinder and the booster pin, for optimum pedal feel.
