Описание: On February 25, 2026, under the direction of our graduate Director, Dr. Nilgun Anadolu Okur, we hosted our 23rd Annual Underground Railroad Conference. This event, which started 23 years ago under the collaboration of Dr. Okur and Professor Emeritus, Dr. Andy Waskie, has grown tremendously in its efforts to educate the student body of Temple University about the intricacies of the underground railroad and the pivotal role that Philadelphia, Pennsylvania played within it.
