Occupational therapists help people of all ages to carry out everyday activities, which are essential for health and wellbeing. Fiona works as an occupational therapist assistant in a community mental health team for older people.
The people she sees are usually referred to the team by their GP, through their family recognising that there’s memory difficulties. Fiona enjoys meeting different people from different walks of life and finds her job very worthwhile and rewarding.
