It's been 15 years since Singer Vehicle Design unveiled their first resto-mod Porsche 964, and in that time they have built the definitive business model for becoming royalty in the land of collectible Porsches. And in that entire time, The Smoking Tire has never been given the opportunity to film one, until now. This is the new Turbo Classic Study, a resto-modded 964 that clearly looks and vibes like a 930 Turbo. It has a twin-turbo 3.8L air-cooled flat six with air-to-water intercoolers making 510 horsepower and weighs around 3,000 lbs depending on spec. It is made even more beautifully than if Porsche had made it themselves. And because it's a restoration and not a new car, Singer are allowed to do things that OEM's can't do in new cars - things that really matter to the discerning enthusiast.
