Town Centre

As we enter the slip road, we can see a yellow sign telling us that both lanes can be used for the town centre, then there is a sign telling us that the town centre is to the right. While it is unusual to use left-hand lane to go right in this case it’s perfectly fine because road signs are telling you this.

As we enter the roundabout from the left-hand lane of the slip road we need to head towards the middle lane where it is marked for Wrexham (WXM) (WCSM), we stay in this lane now till we exit the roundabout.

As we exit the first roundabout, there is a sign saying Town Centre ahead at the next roundabout, keeping in the same lane as a new lane on the left for going left starts, we approach the roundabout in middle lane. As we enter the roundabout the left-hand lane goes left, because of this the middle lane becomes the left-hand lane so we can take the next exit.

Hospital

This time the yellow sign on the slip road, saying to use both lanes for Town Centre also tells us to use the right-hand lane for the hospital, so this time we use the right-hand lane and enter the roundabout in the right-hand lane, staying in this lane all the way around, and exiting the roundabout in the right-hand lane to approach the next roundabout in the right-hand lane.

As we approach the next roundabout, there is a sign telling us the Hospital is right 3rd exit. We enter the roundabout in the right-hand lane and as we pass the first exit, we can see the left-hand lane goes ahead 2nd exit and the right-hand lane that we are in, goes ahead and to the right, we should now be planning to be in the left-hand lane after the 2nd exit, as we come round the roundabout we can then see, if it was busy we could also use the middle lane to take the exit we need.
