For most of the last decade, my only means of travel in Japan was using the trains.
In 2019 I discovered, thanks to a landslide on the train tracks and a cancelled schedule, that I could take a bus from Tokyo to one of my favorite places. Today, we travel to Fujukawaguchiko to visit Mt. Fuji, the tallest mountain in Japan!
Bonus - the bus is half the cost of taking the rail system in some cases.
(example: This trip by train would be 4600JPY; the bus cost 2700 Yen per person.)
