[FR] Petite histoire de ce film : Lors d’un achat d’un ancien livre de train dans une brocante en 2018, il y a à l’intérieur de celui-ci une enveloppe avec un CD sur lequel ce trouve ce petit film. La numérisation à été assez correctement effectuée par son auteur, seul quelques retouches de luminosité et de contraste ainsi qu’un redécoupage des scènes non chronologiques ont été nécessaires.
La datation est relativement facile à faire :
La locomotive CFF Am 4/6 1101 est un prototype de locomotive à turbine à gaz (la première au monde) construite en 1938 par BBC. La seconde guerre mondiale à stoppé la production de ce type de véhicule. En 1947 La British Railway passe commande à BBC d’un second prototype,
la BR 18000. Cette locomotive à été livrée à BR en 1949.
Le film se déroulant en hiver il à vraisemblablement été réalisé entre l’année 1948 et 1949 lors de courses d'essais.

Die Digitalisierung wurde von seinem Autor recht korrekt durchgeführt, lediglich einige Überarbeitungen von Helligkeit und Kontrast sowie ein Neuzeichnen von nicht chronologischen Szenen waren notwendig.

Die Lokomotive CFF Am 4/6 1101 ist ein Prototyp einer Gasturbinenlokomotive (die erste der Welt), die 1938 von der BBC gebaut wurde. Der zweite Weltkrieg stoppte die Produktion dieses Fahrzeugtyps. Im Jahr 1947 beauftragt die British Railway die BBC mit einem zweiten Prototyp,
BR 18000. Diese Lokomotive wurde 1949 an BR ausgeliefert.

The digitization was done quite correctly by its author, only some retouching of brightness and contrast as well as a redrawing of non chronological scenes were necessary.
