The Kometa hydrofoil is a scheduled boat that connects the city of Irkutsk with the village of Nizhneangarsk passing by Listvyanka, Olkhon Island and Severobaikalsk. The whole journey is 600 km long and takes about 12 hours depending on weather conditions. The boat speed is 50 to 70 km/h.
This type of boat made in the 70s in the USSR is not produced any longer. Well-maintained by the local team in Irkutsk this hydrofoil is often used in our tour programmes on Lake Baikal, whether it is an original tour or an unguided option. Make direct inquiries to our team and take off on an authentic adventure with BaikalNature!
