STOCKING
Casual Friday episode where I first met the stocking    • A Great Grandmother's Stockings (1890) // ...  

SPINNING
I used a 3:1 ratio (1.5 oz: .5 oz) of the wool I blended to make gray and the colored roving to make the colored singles
Each of the three colored bobbins had 2/3 oz (.67) of singles
Each of the three gray bobbins had 1/3 oz (.33) of singles.

GARAGE SALE
The sock yarn animal pattern (out of print) is called
