My family got the news of George Michael's untimely passing at the dinner table on Christmas, and I was unsure about releasing this memey cover at a time like this. I figured that since I was so close to getting it done, I would just bite the bullet and release it now, rather than wait another year. I did not intend to just quickly put it together to cash in on his passing. I'll likely make my own proper tribute at some point soon, I've always enjoyed his music, and of course, Last Christmas is no exception.

That said, I had a lot of fun arranging these two songs over the past few weeks, and getting some wonderful lighting by my Christmas tree! It was fun to try new ideas with this, including acapella sections, using the ukulele, and particle effects in the video. I hope you enjoy it and have a wonderful holiday season!
