Today we're going to take a look at sneak attack damage multipliers--specifically how they work in groups. There's some odd behavior and counterintuitive mechanics that we need to overcome when it comes to sneak attacks in Fallout 76. Here, I'll take a look at all of them so you know when it'll pay to be stealthy.
We'll answer the big questions:
Does sneak work if I'm on a team? Does my sneak attack damage bonus count if I'm in a group or other players are around? Why am I seeing big numbers for my sneak attacks but the enemy isn't taking much damage?
I've actually seen a number of fairly heated arguments about this topic on the FO76 subreddit this week, so I hope this video can help bust some myths and but any debate to rest...at least until Bethesda decides to change something about how it all works.

9:30 Confirming that sneak attack damage always applies if you're in "Hidden", regardless of other players or NPC's.
14:46 Testing on Mole Miners to confirm that findings don't just apply to Super Mutants.
16:12 Do the same rules apply when enemies are fighting each other and no other players are around? Yes, yes they do.
17:12 Yes, this is also how it worked in Fallout 4.
