Until Then… (Comic Dub) | Eeveelution Squad Tomorrow’s Light

Описание: Here it is my second ever comic dub this time is an Eeveelution Squad comic dub. I’ve wanted to make this comic dub for a long time now mainly because I wanted to share my own thoughts and opinions on some of the Eeveelution Squad’s ships and why I personally have a problem with them. First of all, Speed x Lazuli, in my opinion, this ship is not only toxic. It’s also predictable and it’s filled with annoying cliché that I have seen too many times in animes TV shows, etc..  I hate tsunderes so much I think that they are the most intolerable, abusive, and the most annoying people to have to deal with in real life, if they were actually real. I just never understood why anyone would actually try to romanticize what is essentially domestic violence does anyone in any community revolving around some kind of fictional media not realize that there are actual real life victims who have died due to these kinds of abuse?  I think what I personally have a problem with it is the fact that if it’s the male character who abuses the female character, then everyone obviously is gonna have a problem with that but if the reverse happens, no one seems to bat an eye, does nothing, and even even treat it as funny. What part of domestic abuse is funny why is it funny?! why is a female abusing a male funny?! anyways the Speed X Lazuli story is generally one of the worst romantic stories I have ever seen and heard and any source of media because I know I’m not expecting A+ writing material from an DeviantArt artist but the story still is predictable, cliché, way too toxic, and Speed is too forgiving in this comic. Like I know that you can’t fill your life full of hatred towards this one person who has abused you for a long time and at some point, you have to forgive the person, but this kind of process takes a long time for anyone to forgive the other person, depending on how heinous the person did to the other person. Yet Speed forgives Lazuli for all the time she abuse him too fast. And what really grinds my gears and bring my blood to a boil is the fact that Lazuli never properly gets reprimanded for her actions and behavior and gets rewarded by having Speed, the same guy who she abuse for the first quarter of the comic series, agreed to be in a relationship with her. What?! Speed x Lazuli is an F-Tier ship in the Eeveelution Squad’s comic, I hate it. As for Black X Pearl, I am genuinely not a fan of the ship mainly because of the fact that this genuinely feels more like a Mordecai x Margaret relationship. What’s one party member (Pearl/Mordecai) having a two over obsessive crush on the other party member (Black/Margaret) and later on that same party member (Black/Margaret) who didn’t have feelings for the other party member (Pearl/Mordecai) soon has a crush on that same party member (Pearl/Mordecai)even though that same party member (Pearl/Mordecai)has gone over his or her feelings for that party member (Black/Margaret). It was a back-and-forth mess, a couple that with Pearl being too over obsessive with Black to the point where she literally tied him up in his bed while he’s asleep, just made me not want to support this ship at all because of how unsanitary and unsafe it is.  and you know the ironic thing is I end up shipping Speed x Pearl more than any other ship in the Eeveelution Squad series. Because not only do they have enough chemistry with one another to determine if they would make a healthy couple or not but also they genuinely help each other but with stuff like grocery shopping and taking care of each other if one gets sick and/or injured . Making this ship, one of the more genuine, healthy and mature ships in the Eeveelution Squad community. Which makes it all the more frustrating that this ship is not canon and doesn’t have a lot of fans yet, Black x Pearl and Speed x Lazuli are. Anyways, that’s the only reason why I wanted to make this comic dub just so that way I can actually get my voice out and hopefully heard.
