Hey guys, in this video I walk through step by step how I removed and replaced the rotting wood core/backer plate for my bow eye hook. I noticed recently that I had brown water running out of my eye hook and down the front of my bow, which was a clear indication that the wood behind the hook was rotting. Whenever you see brown water you will know exactly what is causing it and hope that it's an easy repair. If you caught my previous video you can see what caused this issued, but for 30 years I suppose it helped up okay.
