In the 2nd episode of the Sikkim series, we cover our journey from Gangtok to Lachen. We visited some famous falls on the way such as Naga falls and butterfly falls. The experience of the journey was extremely beautiful yet adventurous.

Sikkim is a state in northeast India, bordered by Bhutan, Tibet, and Nepal. Part of the Himalayas, the area has a dramatic landscape that includes India’s highest mountain, 8,586m Kangchenjunga. Sikkim is also home to glaciers, alpine meadows, and thousands of varieties of wildflowers. Lachen is a town in Mangan District in the Indian state of Sikkim. The name Lachen means "big pass". The Sikkimese government promotes it as a tourist destination. The town forms the base of the Chopta Valley and Gurudongmar Lake. An annual yak race, the Thangu is held there in summer.
