👶🏽 Immediate Relatives: Why filing for your unmarried child under 21 as a U.S. citizen is the fastest route — no status required to adjust if they had a legal entry.
🧑🏽 Unmarried Adult Children (21+):
➡️ Surprise: If you're an LPR, your I-130 could be processed 9 months faster than if you're a citizen. Why? Backlogs in the visa bulletin.
👨👩👧 Married Adult Children:
➡️ Only U.S. citizens can file
➡️ 13+ year wait — but spouses & children can be included!
