The Dark-eyed Juncos come to my yard early winter mostly when it gets to be cold, they don't seem to come to my backyard feeders any other time of the year. I consider when the Juncos come it is the first sign of winter. When they arrive they always come searching for sunflower seeds that have fallen onto the ground or are in my bird feeders. I had recorded this footage at the beginning of November.
I enjoy feeding wild birds in my backyards. Throughout the year I feed wild birds with a mix of sunflower seeds, peanuts, and millet on my bird feeders.
