Through the years, many innovations have revolutionized the media industry, from dollies and cranes, to techno cranes and steady cams, to name a few.
Drones are no different! This invention has transformed the journalism and film making industry in the whole world, boosting footage quality with no need for higher budgets.
Mohamed Essam Abdel Razek, Adham Center graduate class of 2016 and rising drone pilot, will be discussing the new and diverse uses of drone videography in Egypt. He will show us some of his work and will perform a live demonstration on campus for how his drone camera works!
The lecture will be moderated by Dr. Hussein Amin, Professor and Director of the Kamal Adham Center for Television and Digital Journalism.
This event is open to the public. Picture ID is required for entry. Refreshments will be served.
