#98 - First time Bloom Vine | What do you think?

Today I am doing a Bloom Vine using Amsterdam, Liquitex Basics and Artist's Loft paints on an 8"x10" canvas by Artist's Loft. This is my first time attempting this technique. I will be using my mini blower to blow out the cell activator and paint. I will also be using my dotting tool to enhance to this piece by making some lines and designs throughout it. Please watch until the end of the video as the dry result is there.

The colors I am using today are Lamp Black by Amsterdam, Cadmium Red Medium Hue by Liquitex Basics and Old Gold by Artist's Loft. My cell activator is Titanium White by Amsterdam. My pillow paint is Glidden Premium. All of my paints are of the same consistency, as consistency is IMPORTANT! I do a drip test after I mix up my paints and then I do one again before I do my pour.

My pouring medium today is Behr Dynasty and Varathane Triple Thick Polyurethane. This is my Bloom recipe. My cell activator is paint mixed with Flood Floetrol and Flood Penetrol.

All of the paint that gets spun off or tilted off of my canvases gets scraped into a container and reused. I recycle the paint to use as a base color, flow extender or I will make a custom color from it. No paint gets wasted.
