Welcome back for some more spooks and surprises!
Two Halloweens ago, we did a deep dive into several boxsets that contain many horror, suspense, and mystery adventures from yesteryear.
Today, we get the much anticipated follow-up: see reviews of Fox Horror Classics Vol. 2, which gives us a very hammy Bela Lugosi, an ominous Vincent Price, and J. Carrol Naish as part-man and part -animal.
Also, enjoy a review of Kino's seminal German Horror Classics collection, which boasts 4 silent films (and more than one bona fide classic.)
Lastly, we look at the murder mystery/ thriller comedy "Seven Keys to Baldpate" in three of its forms. See how Richard Dix, Gene Raymond, and Phillip Terry all offer different takes on the same role. It might not be a horror film but I think you'll like at least one of the takes if you want something a bit different this October.
