known as an HOA. Living in a Homeowners Association has advantages and disadvantages. There are Gated Communities and Non-Gated Communities. Many HOA Communities have lots of Amenities, such as community pools and fitness centers. There are communities with Restaurants to enjoy on-site dining. Many HOA Communities have Tennis, Pickleball, Bocce Ball, Basketball and Golf Courses. Some of the Pros are just that: All the Amenities and Community Events. Some of the Cons tend to be the Restrictions tied in with the HOA Rules and Regulations.
Then there is the added cost to live in a homeowner association community. Many people find that the benefits outweigh the costs. This includes added security, as most HOA Communities are gated and many have on-site security. Many people enjoy the uniformity of a homeowner association community and these communities tend to maintain their value, especially regards to re-sale when you decide to move and put your home up for sale. There are many things to consider and so it is a good idea to speak with neighbors and other in the surrounding community and it is always advised to work with a Real Estate Advisor, alongside a Real Estate Attorney to ensure that the home you purchase in a particular community that is regulated by an HOA will fit your needs. You never
