This is the course "Audio Coding" for advanced masters students of Media technology and Communications and Signal processing at Ilmenau University of Technology. It covers the principles of audio coding, as applied for instance in the MPEG audio coders, with Python implementation Examples.
This parts introduces modulated filter banks, and the Modified Discrete Cosine Transform (MDCT) filter bank, with Python examples.
