Wasabi Challenge at Samurai Sushi in Croton On Hudson NY w/ Cash$tar Genesis

Описание: We’re at Samurai Sushi & Hibachi in Croton-on-Hudson, New York for my first time here, invited by Cash$tar Genesis. I pulled up early, started with a cold Sapporo, then a fresh Mai Tai made with real juices from the bar. First impression? This place is big. Full bar, sushi bar, hibachi room, and plenty of seating.

Once the full Cash$tar crew arrived, we went in.

We ordered a sushi combination platter with sashimi, specialty rolls, and substitutions to accommodate allergies. We also added Volcano rolls and later a Spider Roll with lobster. We broke down everything from texture and presentation to flavor balance, spice level, and freshness.

Highlights:
• Fresh sashimi with clean cuts and proper temperature
• Balanced spicy mayo that adds heat without overpowering
• Octopus with a firm but not rubbery texture
• Spider roll with a strong crunch to soft ratio
• Miso soup that was hot, savory, and comforting

We even did a wasabi challenge at the table.

Overall, Sushi Samurai lives up to its reputation locally. Strong presentation, quality fish, and a well rounded menu. This is not an everyday quick bite spot. This is a bring your girl, bring your crew, and enjoy the night type of restaurant.

If you are looking for quality sushi in Westchester County without driving into Manhattan, this is a serious option.
