Today we are discussing the pros and cons for antibiotics with reptiles. We recently posted a video of one of our 2 year old male carpet pythons the had a respiratory infection. In the video we discussed the home remedies for respiratory infections.

With winter soon upon us, we decided that we would administer antibiotics to accelerate the recovery process. We need to ensure that the boy is in perfect health before his rack is cooled in preparation for breeding season.

Todays video demonstrates the application of injectable antibiotics for carpet pythons and all snakes.
