We learn to hum and sing before we can even speak. This happiness technique is your birthright.You will notice that kids do this naturally without being told. Our body knows how to take care of itself but sometimes we forget.
Humming vibrates in your throat and vocal cord area which is where your parasympathetic nervous system is concentrated. This actively stimulates the vagus nerve and calms you down. It takes you out of fight or flight like we talked about in my video about Dan Siegel's Hand Model of the Brain which is the first uploaded video on this channel. So sing my humming song.
You can do a number of these humming repetitions throughout your day and notice how relaxed it makes you feel.
