It's so easy to justify our actions, to say "It's just a little thing" or "Everyone else is doing it." But God calls us to a higher standard. When we allow small compromises in our entertainment, in our relationships, in our thoughts, we're slowly marching up that hill to the temple of our own desires. Maybe for you it's not sexual immorality, but gossip, greed, or pride. Whatever it is, it's keeping you from the fullness God has for you. Where are you cultivating compromise today?

Today, right now, we have a choice. We can continue down that path of compromise, or we can turn back to God. It might cost us something - our comfort, our habits, maybe even some relationships. But I'm telling you, what God has for you on the other side of obedience is so much greater than anything this world can offer. So let's make that hard stop today. Let's choose to be different, to stand out, to be that city on a hill that shines God's light to a world in darkness. Because, when we do that, when we truly live for God, that's when we'll see revival, that's when we'll see lives changed, that's when we'll see God move in power!
