The latest tech craze in China is the installation of OpenClaw, a fully automatic AI agent that executes tasks automatically. Tech companies have been organising gatherings or even open-air events to promote and help ordinary people deploy the software, often referred to as “lobsters” because of its logo. However, authorities have warned of security risks with OpenClaw, since deploying the AI agent requires users to grant high-level access to their devices.
