Shadow Day at HABIT SALON !!

Описание: Herrrrrrre we GO!! My Shadow Day at Habit Salon.

I flew to Arizona to shadow Allison Hallows, one of Chrissy's lead stylists - she's super talented, and a hair celebrity to me. I'm an extensions & color stylist in San Diego, and I totally got to FAN Girl on her that day.
It was such an incredible experience & I had a perma-smile on the whole time!


Disclaimer: I overuse the word "excited", throughout the whole video. That happens when you're filming in 'stream of consciousness'. Haha.

I learned a ton, especially color & extensions training. My video is for you: Extension stylist, or lover of all things Habit!

If you're an extension stylist looking to elevate your brand, shadowing with the industry's best will be invaluable to you. Not mention you can blast all the cool videos you took all over your social media.

That's exactly what I did - and now, 2 1/2 years after getting certified in 'The Habit Extension Method', all my social media is branded with this amazing company. Clients find me because they already love the Habit brand. My current clients love that I'm always leveling up & pushing for the best for them.

Allison IG messaged me that our schedule was from 9-5pm. She started on time & ended on-time which I really appreciated. Often times you pay to go to a class & the educator doesn't take it seriously, starting late not following a format, and all that. Allison didn't do that.

She took the time to describe everything that was happening and why. Even though I'm a 15 year hairstylist - she still 'taught' me which is why I took away so much from my shadow day. Thank you Allison!

We started with a tour of both Habit's. There are two salons side by side in a clean strip mall in Gilbert Arizona. Their address is 4331 Baseline Rd. Gilbert AZ 85234.

The rest of the day was spent watching Allsion work her magic on her clients. She worked a full day with anywhere from 2-4 assistants working on 3-4 clients at the same time.

It's important for my clients to know, the transformations you see on Habit's Instagram can happen in one day because they have multiple stylists working on one head 4:04. I'm one stylist - so transformations will be split into 2-3 appointments for best results.

But don't worry! You hair will look blended & beautiful after our first visit.

My two big take aways were:

• Stagger your wefts at the front contact points so there isn't one big lump of hair at the front of their face.

• 09N + 09P 1:1 is a Habit's magic root tap formula for blondes!

This day was one of the best days of my career because, being there in person I was able to grasp so much more, than I ever could in an online class. I really liked seeing & experiencing first hand, what it's like when she worked on real extension clients. I loved it so much I'm planning to go to their Sunset Blvd location for my next shadow day. Yayyyy!! I can't wait.
