In this video, we will show the production process of silicone heat transfer label.
First of all, you need to adjust the printing screen to avoid the displacement problem in the printing process.
After adjusting the position of printing screen, you can start printing.
Here it is necessary for you to know a structural knowledge of silicone printing.
The first layer: to print custom color as customer request.
Each layer should be printed at least 50 to 60 times.
The thicker the thickness, the more printing times.
The middle layer: normally we will print clear or white color, we can print the same custom color as the first layer for the middle layer, or you can request another custom color for middle layer which makes your logo into double-layered color silicone.
Measure the thickness after printing two layers of silicone ink.
In generally, regular thickness is 0.5-0.6mm, we also can make 0.8-1mm.
The final layer is printing the clear glue, the ink we use is water-based ink, it is sustainable and eco-friendly.
Print multiple layers of glue on the bottom to ensure viscosity.
After printing clear glue, we'll measure the final thickness again.
After confirming that the final thickness reaches thickness that required by the customer.
We'll put the product into the drying room to dry for at least 5-6 hours
We have to wait until the glue is completely dry.
Regular iron temperature is 160 degrees, time is 15-20 seconds and pressure is 3-4KG, you need to iron the back side where it has glue and cold peel.
In practice, you need to adjust this according to your fabrics
