The 2026 Exeed EX7 is positioned as a premium mid-to-large five-seater SUV developed under Chery, riding on its advanced E0X high-voltage architecture. One of its standout innovations is the introduction of an Electronic Mechanical Braking (EMB) system, a first for a mass-production vehicle, which replaces conventional hydraulic braking with fully electronic actuation for sharper response, improved efficiency, and enhanced safety integration. Designed with a strong focus on next-generation mobility, the EX7 blends cutting-edge hardware with a clean, tech-driven identity.

In terms of performance, the EX7 is available in both fully electric (BEV) and range-extended (EREV) variants. The BEV version utilizes an 800V architecture, offering a single-motor rear-wheel-drive setup producing 230 kW (308 hp) and a dual-motor all-wheel-drive configuration delivering a combined 353 kW (473 hp), pairing a 123 kW front motor with a 230 kW rear motor. It is equipped with a 97.7 kWh battery sourced from CATL, delivering an estimated driving range of around 682 to 726 km (CLTC), while ultra-fast DC charging enables a 30–80% recharge in roughly 9 to 11.5 minutes. The EREV model integrates a 1.5-liter turbocharged engine acting purely as a generator, combined with a ~40 kWh battery, offering an electric-only range of approximately 182 to 203 km and a total driving range exceeding 1,500 km.

Dimensionally, the EX7 emphasizes space and presence, measuring close to 4,988 mm in length, 1,975 mm in width, and around 1,702 to 1,710 mm in height, supported by a long 3,000 mm wheelbase that enhances cabin comfort and stability. The exterior design follows a minimalist yet futuristic theme, highlighted by full-width LED daytime running lights and taillights, along with clean surfacing and aerodynamic proportions. Buyers can choose from 19-inch, 20-inch, or 21-inch wheels, further enhancing its premium road presence while maintaining a balance between style and efficiency.
