We were asked if we wanted to see the well dressings being constructed - of course we said yes! So here we follow the tableaux being made and we lend a hand with them being placed.
Well dressing is predominantly a Derbyshire tradition although some Staffordshire villages that border the county also dress their wells. A tradition dating back to pagan times, we see the hard work that goes in to making the beautiful scenes.
