Mergo's Wet Nurse is encountered at the "Mergo's LoftL Middle" lamp. She can be found at the very top of the building, past the pigs is an elevator that takes you right to her. You have to fight her as part of the story, if you do not fight her then you cannot progress. Also, upon defeating her she drops a piece of the umbilical cord which is needed for the Childhood's Beginning trophy. For more info on the umbilical cords, please refer to that trophy.

Mergo's Wet Nurse is a fairly easy fight depending on what level you are. she is fairly slow, so you won't get instant killed by a barrage of combos. She pretty much just has basic melee moves for the first have of the fight. She has many arms, so it is a little tricky to avoid all of the swords but she usually always just swings them in front of her, which leaves the back vulnerable. She will notice you are attacking her back though and you will eventually get hit by her swinging arms, so just hit her a couple of times then back away. The ranged attacks works well for this fight so make sure to make use of them.

once she is down to half health, she starts shrouds the arena in mist and starts duplicating herself. This makes things confusing, and difficult. She will still be in the arena but other clones will portal through and try to attack you. The best way to avoid this section is to just keep dodging around the room until the mist goes away. it is too risky trying to damage her here as you cannot see anything, and you are more than likely going to get hurt more than you are going to hurt her.

Her melee attacks become much more deadly when she has low health, but she has a long recovery period. So, after she uses a move you can go in for a few hits on her without her reacting to it. This makes the fight easy, just remember to not get greedy as if you do get caught in her sword attacks you will lose a lot of health. After Mergo's wet nurse has been slain, the trophy will unlock.
