Usually sex during pregnancy is safe but there are conditions when you need to avoid it . And also there are some positions which can be used without any risk to the foetus..
During first trimester
No specific position required however your partner should be comfortable in whichever position you are using and there should be no pain
In second trimester and third trimester
Avoid missionary (men on top ) position because it will put pressure on the blood vessel and female may feel dizzy and hypotensive ..
Instead use Cowgirl (women on top) or Lateral position.
