The C371 trains are the largest fleet in the Taipei Metro system, with 55 trains. They currently operate on the Songshan–Xindian Line, Zhonghe–Xinlu Line, Xinbeitou Line, and Xiaobitan Line.
These trains previously operated on the Tamsui–Xindian Line and the Xiaonanmen Line until 2014, when the Tamsui–Xindian Line was reformed into the Tamsui–Xinyi Line and the Songshan–Xindian Line, while the Xiaonanmen Line was merged into the Songshan–Xindian Line.
The C371 trains also once operated on the Bannan Line on 1 January 2026 using Unit 331/332, which is featured in this video.
The fleet number of the C371 trains start from Unit 301/302 to Unit 337/338 for Batch 1, Unit 401/402 to Unit 465/466 for Batch 2 and Unit 397 to Unit 399 for the 3-Car C371 trains. Batch 1 C371 trains operate on the Songshan-Xindian Line, Batch 2 C371 trains operate on the Zhonghe-Xinlu Line and 3-Car C371 trains operate on the two branch lines.
