About the speaker:
Dr. Edward Hickey is a cardiac surgeon at The Hospital for Sick Children and assistant professor of medicine at the University of Toronto. He has won many awards including the Zane Cohen Fellowship Award (2011), U of T Postgraduate Leadership Award (2010), Richard Rowe Award (2008, 2007) at the Canadian Cardiovascular Congress and a Young Investigator Award (2008) from the Chicago Children’s Heart Foundation.
