Описание: A urinary catheter is a tube placed in the body to drain and collect urine from the bladder. It is also indicated after surgery and to help perform certain tests. It is a commonly performed procedure in all hospitals. Catheters come in many sizes, materials (latex, silicone, Teflon), and types (straight or coude tip). A Foley catheter is a common type of indwelling catheter.
