I learned this song when I had a weekly gig at a local restaurant in Queens, sometimes there were like 20 people, other time there was zero audience. Gig paid like 10$ plus tip, there used to be a time they only feed us but no money until one of musicians argued with the owner, I did that for many years.

I uploaded the video on Youtube on my birthday in December 2019, then after the covid hit, I uploaded exact same recording on Spotify.It got on Spanish guitar playlist, then after this song had 300,000 plays, I got an email from Universal Music Group’s U-NEXT. I signed the deal in the midst of pandemic, it was a lifesaver track now it tops 1.6 million plays.

7 string version was somewhat complicated using capo on 5th fret, so I made 6 string version this time.
